A Warm welcome to 3 great Polymer industry professionals who have joined Sierra 57’s Training Division this month, supporting our expansion plans for delivering more technical specialist onsite plastics modular training courses, educating and upskilling the masses for driving to close the skills gap.
Chris Bussey is our new Engineering Manager, a specialist within plastic injection moulding maintenance & automation, supported with 40 years hands-on experience. Chris is working closely with our R&D team for designing & delivering basic to advanced level training courses in electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and robot applications within IM disciplines, as well us supporting injection moulding maintenance contract projects at customers sites.

Andy Skelson is our contracted designated Training Manager for our new onsite modular courses within Blow Moulding, Extrusion Blow Moulding & Injection Stretch Blow Moulding disciplines.

Andy offers our training division a wealth of experience within this discipline, is highly knowledgeable and an absolute training & delivery professional. A massive advocate of people development and helping others to progress further, Andy is highly regarded and respected within his field craft, and he complements our training team perfectly.
Andy is also available for supporting contractor projects for customers requiring advisory guidance on production & process operations for optimising business efficiencies.
John Allsop is our contracting designated Training Manager for our newly formed Plastics Extrusion Moulding training wing, having worked with our R&D team since January for formulating 22 x new Extrusion Moulding courses, basic to advanced levels for upskilling the workforce within this discipline.

John brings a myriad of expertise and applications, some 40 years knowledge and exposure, is a very personable & amiable character and is a champion for empowering & aiding the workforce for closing the skills gap for extrusion processing businesses.
